From 28/11/12 to the rest of the year?...well...

NOPE ... ASSHOLE.

Arrrg my previous self is such a tit. Seriously I know even my future self is kicking himself over this sentence still. Well a lot has happened since this post and well a lot has happened in 2012 so far. It is November and I have be very sick for 5 days and today I have yet to get any sleep for over 29 hours with no coffee just because I am coughing my fecking face off. This is in no small part to the "awesome" decision to give up smoking and try and become more healthy. Well body is it working, you still look as fat as the body you had at the start of the year and you have been ill more times this year and with more severity that the previous 4 years (all separate not together as this sentence was implying).

Why on earth would you try and quit something that you actually enjoy, (because you live on earth... stupid) and become more irritated than a bag of cats on cocaine that has been shaken for 20 minutes. Present Moltile will need to explain then, You Want To Live LONGER! That's why and that is also the same reason that future me will be so pissed off with the amount of shit he will need to do, exercise both daily home and weekly classes of martial arts (Tae Kwon Do hopefully, used to do that and will get into that discussion another day), eating as much like a vegetarian as possible to reduce on cost and reduce the amount of shit that I end up devouring over the course of a day. Changing the coffee intake last round time from 8pm (GMT if you were wondering) to 6:30pm so that a good nights sleep will be had by well me. ... well not really it is simply that you go to bed earlier so that you can wake up in the morning. You have no bother sleeping but you do have trouble waking up, staying awake, functioning anything apart from the snooze button and not going back to bed once up because it is "too cold"/"too wet"/"still dark"/"still tired"/"too early" and personal favourite/"too boring, my dream was much better than this". It is fecking Ireland get used to it you have been here for nearly 24 years, you need to start getting used to it.

Unto a different area, I now currently live in Derry/Londonderry/Legend-Derry or whatever the cool kids are calling it. Did like the last one reminded me of How I Met Your Mother. This is because earlier in the year I was taking a Fast Track Access Course to Higher Education. This is a 1 Year or 2 Year course were they cover 2 Sets of Biology, Math Methods, Chemistry, Psychology and Study Skills. I of course went with the one you can get done in a year and then my guts had a very different idea. Instead of doing what they always had done and.. well.. worked. They proceeded to shoot anything that I put into my body through the top end, out the bottom end, as fast as it could. This happened HALF WAY THROUGH. So the course already being very strenuous became overall more stressful, strenuous and tedious because I wasn't able to attend class. This had a knock on effect from incorrectly deciphering a classmates notes to not knowing exactly how to write up an experiment that I didn't do.

So really the rest of this year is, finding a job, revise for exams in January and don't fuck anything else up you lucky bastard (apart from all the illnesses stop doing that).

GDC 2012: From Console to Chrome 

HTML 5 Games, so the way to write one code base and  run it everywhere.
What they are proposing is that people are looking at the HTML 5 are using the browser as a platform.

They are looking for "credible console style experiences" in the browser. Need to use WebGL, which is kinda like the OpenGL but basically stripped. Writing in Javascript is able to give the output necessary now to produce these games. O.K. I am now on 16:33 and they are talking about arrays, the class just went over this but I was and still currently sick so off to learn stuff before watching the rest.

• CryEngine looks good but haven't seen anything inspiring as of yet.
• Planetside 2 Developer Interview - Was intresting, I have played it, was in the beta but I need a new graphics card to run it well and don't want to make a full judgement on it. He goes into why it is free-to-play. He is looking for the player base, which is correct free is the lowest buy in. With the graphical area it also has a low buy in but again I feel that I would get a lot more if I had a better GPU.
• MechWarrior Online is looking very nice maybe a but camp with the lasers :P. I am liking the HUD and the general look of the game.
• War of the Roses Gameplay reminds me so much of my COD2 days. Looks like good multilayer and a lot of replay value to it. Has a squad system, active reload like GOW3 and some nice death animations.
